Aggies Win Region 2 Championship

The Murray State College men's soccer team won the Region 2 Championship in penalty kicks against Eastern Oklahoma State College! The Aggies will advance to the Mid-West District Championship to take on Ranger Junior College on Friday, November 8th, at 2 pm in Stephenville, TX.

Murray State Shotgun Team Coaches Win National Sporting Clay Championship

Murray State Shotgun Team coaches Scott and Clay Robertson won the Parent/Child Sporting Clay National Championship in San Antonio, Texas.

Murray State College Foundation Legacy Gala

The Murray State College Foundation hosted its inaugural Legacy Gala on Saturday night, raising approximately $70,000 for scholarships and operations. Governor Bill Anoatubby was honored as the first Legacy Award recipient. E.J. Holliday and Courtney Grey were highlighted as recipients of the Legacy Scholarship.

Beames Fieldhouse Ribbon Cutting

Murray State College hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of phase one of the renovation of its Beames Fieldhouse. Regent Chair Adisha Chapman, President Faltyn, and Athletic Director Brandon Bowling provided remarks.

OSGA Fall Congress

Last week, the Murray State SGA officers attended the Oklahoma SGA Fall Congress meeting at Rose State College.

Art Reception

Murray State faculty, staff, and community members celebrated the displayed work of Choctaw artist Candace Shanholtzer at a special reception on October 29th. Shanholtzer specializes in acrylic drawings of people, animals, and birds important to the Choctaw culture, such as children, foxes, and crows. Her detailed use of color brings her subjects to life on the canvas.

Her co-exhibitor, Kim Johnston showed his colored pencil landscape drawings. Mr. Johnston is a retired Air Force graphic artist.

Murray State PTA Program Hosts Golf Scramble

The Murray State PTA program hosted a fantastic golf scramble. Every swing on the course supported their mission to become skilled Physical Therapy Assistants and help patients “Move Better.”

Murray State College Halloween Activities

Last week, Murray State Student Life hosted various Halloween activities. From a zombie run, pumpkin carving, and costume contests to pickleball tournaments and baseball games.

Tishomingo Elementary Students

The Murray State College Cross Country team visited Tishomingo Elementary School to pass out candy to the students during their "Trick or Treat" event on Thursday.

Men's Soccer Places 12 on All Region Team

12 Murray State College men's soccer players were named to the All Region 2 Team. Alexis Lopez, Leo Aquino, Ryosuke Miyata, Bryan Garcia, Carlos Zapata, Gui Alves, and Shuto Ishikawa were named to the First Team, while Nicolo Donadio, Philipp Federer, Gustavo Ursino, Caio Wasch, and Yosuke Shimizu earned Second Team honors!

Women's Soccer Season Ends in Quarterfinals

The Murray State College women's soccer team fought hard but came up a goal short in the Region 2 Quarterfinals. The Lady Aggies conclude the season with a 9-6-3 record.

Lady Aggies Begin the Season with a Pair of Wins

The Murray State College women's basketball team picked up a couple of wins to begin the season last weekend. The Lady Aggies return home on Friday for their first home contest of the season.
