Coach Mullens Named Region Coach of the Year

For the third time in four years, Murray State's softball coach Aaron Mullens was named NJCAA Region 2 Coach of the Year.

Choi Named All-American

Noah Choi's strong play at last week’s NJCAA Division II Golf Championships in Missouri, gave him the honor of being a 2024 NJCAA Men’s Golf All-American.

4 Lady Aggies Named to NFCA All-Region Teams

Due to their record-setting season, four Murray State College softball players were also named to the NFCA Division II All-Region Team. Karsyn York and Shay Midgley earned First-Team honors, while Courtney Grey and Bradi Harman were named to the Second Team.

Harman and Igou Named to World Series All-Tournament Team

Murray State's softball players Bradi Harman and Haili Igou made the NJCAA DII World Series All-Tournament Team.

Golf Nationals

The Murray State College Men's Golf Team competed valiantly against the top teams in the country last week at the NJCAA Division II Golf Championships in Joplin, Missouri.


The Aggies finished in 12th place.

Bass Fishing Nationals

The Murray State College Bass Fishing Team was one of the few schools to have at least three teams qualify for the 2024 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.


Alan Kight/Shaden Farley finished in the No. 86 spot.


Carson Owen/Charles Lawrence, and Sam Sutter/Braden Lankford both scored in the top 150 to help the Aggies move up in the team standings.


Murray State was No. 37 in the previous School of the Year standings and will move up when the next standings are released later this week.

Softball Nationals

The Murray State College Softball Team finished as the No. 3 team in the country at the NJCAA Division II World Series.

The Murray State College Softball Team had an impressive run at the NJCAA Division II World Series last week that came up just one win short of the National Championship game. The Lady Aggies went 1-1 in their first two games of the tournament, but then rallied off four consecutive victories against some of the best teams in the country to set the school record for most wins in a season (60)!
