ACE Program MOU Signing

Murray State College, Durant High School, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University signed an agreement to offer Murray State's Accelerated College Experience (ACE) program to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

President's Scholars Program Receive Environmental Award

Murray State's President's Scholars Program won the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful Environmental Excellence Award for Higher Educational Institutions. Their project focused on water conservation. The program was also nominated for Project of the Year.

Legislative Tour

A delegation of Murray State College attended the annual OSRHE Legislative Tour of the Southeast Region. The group was introduced to the new chancellor and learned about the new year's legislative agenda and budget requests.

President's Leadership Class

Murray State's President's Leadership Class took time out of their evening to visit residents at Blue River Healthcare. During their visit, they wrapped the resident's doors for Christmas.

The Christmas Tree Farm

The Murray State College Musical Theater Department presented The Christmas Tree Farm Play by Adam Syzmkowicz. The holiday play featured a series of vignettes set at a Christmas tree farm. From a breakup and a breakdown to a charming meet-cute, four Santas, a film director, high school sweethearts, and a group of carolers. At its core, the play celebrated love and joy.

Vet Nursing Santa Night

Murray State's Veterinary Nursing Program hosted its annual Santa Night for the Johnston County community. The night provided the opportunity for children to take their photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus and receive a Christmas gift.

Ardmore Parade of Lights

Murray State students, faculty and staff participated in Ardmore's Festival of Lights Parade.

Murray State Agriculture Students Hold "Sales Night"

Murray State's Ag Product Marketing and Sales class held "Sales Night."

The students were tasked with researching their chosen product or service to sell to a panel of potential consumers using the tools they gained during the course.

Three Aggies Named All-Americans

The Murray State College Men's Soccer Team had three players earn NJCAA Division I All-American status. Ryosuke Miyata earned first-team honors, Alexis Lopez was named to the second team and Gui Alves earned a spot on the third team.

Murray State Rodeo Team Members Qualify for Finals

Murray State College Rodeo Team Members Cason Andrews and Austin Simpson both qualified for the Junior World Finals in Las Vegas and will be competing in the saddlebronc riding event.

Aggies on a Five Game Win Streak

The Murray State College Men's Basketball Team has won their last five games and is currently 9-2 on the season.

The Aggies have three games left before the Christmas Break.

Lady Aggies Ranked No. 24

The Murray State College Women's Basketball Team has accumulated a 7-2 record and earned the No. 24 ranking in the latest edition of the NJCAA Division 1 Top 25 Poll.

The Lady Aggies have three games to wrap up their first semester schedule.
