The Murray State College President's Scholars Program held their annual Etiquette Dinner which focused on fine dining and dinner conversation skills. This year's guest speaker was Regent Allen Benson, the longest-tenured Board of Regent in Murray State College history.

With this year's President's Scholars Program project focused on Artificial Intelligence and the impact of AI on our society, Regent Benson provided insight into his years of experience with technology. He emphasized that obtaining a good education, combined with hard work and dedication, will serve students well in any career path. He also stressed that while technology, such as AI, will continue to evolve, the relationships with the people around you remain important.

Five Murray State College students were recognized at the Oklahoma State Capitol by the Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges.

Murray State College Occupational Therapy Assistant students Amanda Allen, Brittan Lee (via Zoom), and Jaycee Willoughby were inducted into the Alpha Omega Tau (AOT) Honor Society.

AOT is a specialized OTA honor society that recognizes and encourages scholastic, service, and leadership excellence and contributes to the advancement of the occupational therapy field.

Regent Allen Benson made a surprise appearance at the Murray State College Shotgun Team's practice, taking a moment out of his evening to congratulate them on their recent National Championship victory.

Murray State College Student Life hosted a watch party to cheer on the Murray State College Women's Basketball Team as they competed in the NJCAA National Championship Tournament. Students came together to show their support.

The Murray State College Veterinary Nursing student organization hosted a shrimp boil fundraiser to support their organization and raise funds for future initiatives.

The Murray State College Softball Team jumped to No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Division 2 Rankings.

They achieved two run-rule victories against ASU-Newport, winning each game with scores of 20-0 and 14-0.

The Murray State College Women's Cross Country Team was named a NJCAA All-Academic Team. Five women's runners and three men's runners also earned individual NJCAA All-Academic Honors.

Those who earned NJCAA All-Academic honors include: Brynn Custar, Abby Salter, Khasandrah Callan, Moriah Tollett, Zoë Jones, Treygon Gehring, Shawn Weaver and Juan Flores.

The Murray State College Women's Basketball Team's season came to an end in the first round of the National Tournament. However, the Lady Aggies finished the season as the Region 2 Regular Season and Region 2 Tournament Champions with a 28-4 record.

Murray State College baseball player, Jakob Holzer, was named the Region 2 Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The Murray State College Baseball Team is on a roll, having taken three of four games from Western Oklahoma State College.

The Aggies are now 21-13 on the year and 5-3 in Region 2 play.
