Westheimer Grants Gift, SONEC Named

Murray State College has announced that the Murray State College Foundation has received a grant from the Jerome Westheimer Family Foundation in support of the Southern Oklahoma Nursing Education Center (SONEC) in Ardmore. This significant gift marks a historic moment for the future of the Murray State College nursing program and as such, the building will be named the Westheimer Southern Oklahoma Nursing Education Center.

SODA Legislative Breakfast and Reception

Murray State College President Dr. Tim Faltyn provided a welcome and shared college updates at the Southern Oklahoma Development Association Legislative Breakfast.

Lady Aggies Special Tribute

The Lady Aggies had a special 2025 softball season opener at Murray State College honoring one of Lone Grove's strongest fighters, Ava Shorter, a fifth-grade student battling Leukemia.


The Lady Aggies showed out for Ava with a dominating 9-1 win over Coffeyville Community College.

Murray State College Gunsmithing Blood Drive Recognition

During the last blood drive held on the Tishomingo Campus in October, Murray State Gunsmithing students accounted for the majority of the donations. They were recognized by the Oklahoma Blood Institute for their efforts in maintaining our community's health.

Murray State College Soccer Team Camp

Murray State College hosted a soccer camp over the weekend, offering young athletes in the community a chance to improve their skills. Murray State Men's Soccer coaches and team members provided guidance and personal instruction to the campers.

Lady Aggies Cruise in Home Debut

The Murray State College Softball Team had its season opener on Saturday with a 9-1 win over Coffeyville Community College.


Murray State posted an 8-0 run-rule win over Coffeyville in game one spurred by a pitching no-hitter from Bella Hardeman. The Lady Aggies followed with a 10-0 thumping of Dodge City.

Agu Named Player of the Week

Murray State College Men's Basketball player Bol Agu was named the Region 2 Player of the Week.


Agu helped lead the Aggies to a 2-0 week and set a season-high in points with 35 in the Aggies' second win last week.

Aggies Defeat #6 Team in Country

The Murray State College Men's Basketball Team took down the No. 6 team in the nation, 72-65.


The Aggies continued their winning ways with a road victory over Eastern Oklahoma State College, 78-55.


The Aggies are 17-3 on the season and 6-1 in Region 2 play.

Lady Aggies Beat Eastern Oklahoma State College

The No. 16 Murray State College Women's Basketball Team went 1-1 with a big win over Eastern Oklahoma State College, 66-36.


The Lady Aggies are 16-3 on the year and 6-1 in Region 2 action.
