Murray State Men's Soccer Earns Highest Rank in Program History

Following a perfect 7-0 record and sweeping the weekly Region 2 Player of the Week awards, the Murray State College Men's Soccer Team climbed another spot in the recent NJCAA Coaches Poll to the No. 7 ranking. This is the highest ranking in the history of the Aggie soccer program.

Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges Award Winners

Each year, Murray State faculty and staff submit nominations for the OACC faculty, staff and support staff of the year. This year, three individuals tied for Murray State's faculty of the year. All award winners will be recognized at the OACC Conference on October 4 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

8th Grade Discovery Day

Murray State hosted the 8th grade Career Discovery Day. Representing the JBAMM Healthcare Center for Workforce Excellence, Robin Coppedge organizes the event each year. More than 300 students from Atoka, Johnston, Marshall and Murray counties attended sessions to learn about the different career paths available at Murray State and in southern Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Facebook Post

This week, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shared a Facebook post highlighting UpskillOK, which offers micro-credential programs to provide job-specific skills. These credentials are direct pathways to Oklahoma's 100 critical occupations, and most are stackable toward a degree.

Cataclysm Art Reception at Ardmore Campus

Murray State College in Ardmore hosted the opening reception of the Cataclysm Traveling Art Exhibit. This exhibit showcases the work of three Oklahoma-based artist-librarians: Rudy Ellis, Lauren Panichelli and Katie Pendley.


These artists create a rich and thought-provoking journey through time, emotion and culture. Murray State students, faculty and staff, and community members were invited to meet the artists and view their work.

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Information Event

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Center hosted an engaging event in front of Murray State's Fletcher Auditorium, inviting students to explore the range of services available.

Murray State College Hosts Blood Drive

Murray State College in Ardmore hosted a successful Blood Drive! A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped save lives.

Murray State FBLA Volunteers at Regional Food Bank

Murray State College FBLA advisor Cyndi Stoker and members Theresa Schultz and Barbara Alexander volunteered at the Food and Resource Center of Southern Oklahoma in Ardmore.

Aggies Sweep Player of the Week Awards

Emilia Zanetti, Leo Aquino and Iker Arriola were named NJCAA Region 2 Soccer Players of the Week. Zanetti accounted for two goals for the Lady Aggies in a big 3-0 victory over Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Aquino and Arriola were catalysts for the Murray State College men's soccer team as Aquino accounted for two goals and two assists, while Arriola kept both UA Rich Mountain and Eastern Oklahoma State College scoreless in Murray State's pair of 3-0 victories.

Lady Aggies Compete in Oklahoma Women's Collegiate Invitational

The Murray State College Women's Golf Team competed valiantly against strong competition at the Oklahoma Women's Collegiate Invitational. All five Lady Aggies showed immediate improvement, carding lower rounds during day two than the opening round.
