Park J. Student Union Groundbreaking

Murray State College held a groundbreaking ceremony for the student union located the Tishomingo campus. The student union was originally constructed in 1964, and it is believed that it has only undergone one minor renovation since then.

The $7 million project included an update to 14,000 square feet of space in the building with an expansion of 9,000 square feet.

Aggies Got Talent

Tuesday night brought the Aggies student talent show. Seven students competed against each other for the coveted win. From signing to playing the piano and reciting a poem.

President Faltyn welcomed and provided a college update to legislators and SODA members during their 2024 Legislative Breakfast.

Softball Begins Season with Run-Rule Victories

The Murray State College Softball Team opened the season with a pair of run-rule victories over Western Texas College on Tuesday.

The following day, the Lady Aggies dominated Garden City Community College, 10-1 and 24-0.

On the final day of Murray State's three-game homestand, the Lady Aggies cruised past Dodge City CC, 16-0 and 13-0.

Aggies Sweep Eastern Oklahoma State

The Murray State College Men's and Women's Basketball Teams picked up Region 2 victories on Thursday inside Beames Fieldhouse.

The men's basketball team defeated the Mountaineers, 67-62. With the win, the Aggies improve to 4-2 in Region play.

The women's basketball team bested the visitors from Wilburton, 76-72.

With the win, the Lady Aggies move to 3-3 in Region play.

The Murray State College men's and women's basketball teams return to the court Saturday for another Region 2 game.
