Business leaders from the Ardmore area met together on Thursday evening for the Ardmore Chamber’s first Business Roundtable of 2023.

Senator Jerry Alvord and Representative Tammy Townley joined and provided a legislative update.

Murray State's Academic Team Secures Bid

to National Championship

Murray State College was the host site for the Community College South Central Sectional Tournament Academic Quiz Bowl.

Murray's Academic Team went 9-1 to win and secured a bid to the Community College National Championship Tournament on February 24-25 in Chicago, Illinois.

Freshman Captain Marshall Barnett was the tournament’s leading scorer.

This is Murray State’s inaugural year playing in the Quiz Bowl.

NJCAA Division II Preseason Rankings

The Murray State softball team is currently ranked #2 in the preseason rankings.

The Murray State baseball team is currently ranked #10 in the preseason rankings.

Women's Basketball Win 8th Straight

The Murray State Lady Aggies ran their winning streak to eight and rolled up a season-best scoring total Thursday night in a 104-63 win against Western Oklahoma State College.

With the victory, the Lady Aggies improved to 15-6 on the season and closed out the first half of conference play with a 7-1 record.

The Lady Aggies are sitting at #1 with this win.

The Murray Aggies soared in the second half to an 88-69 win against Western Oklahoma State College.

The Aggies are 8-14 on the season.

Both teams travel to Miami, Oklahoma, to play Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Jan. 30.

The women will play at 5:30 p.m. The men will follow at 7:30 p.m.
