President Faltyn also accepted the new Shooting Star award on behalf of Murray State College.
Murray State participated in Tishomingo's homecoming parade on Friday. The theme: "There's no place like Homecoming."
Dr. Faltyn followed "the yellow brick road" (aka Main Street) as Murray students handed out candy to the kids who lined the streets.

The women's team took control of their home turf, beating Crowder College 3-0.
Both teams will play at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Wednesday, 21st.
The women will play at 2 p.m. and the men at 5 p.m.
