Murray State College and other institutions of higher education in southern Oklahoma are partnering to provide career pathways for Michelin employees.

Murray State is committed to offering educational opportunities to allow for affected employees to re-tool, upskill or change career paths altogether.

PSP Students Attend Oka'con Water Conference

PSP students attended the Oka'con Water Conference in Ada.

Tishomingo was at the forefront of conversation as collaborative efforts are being made to improve area water infrastructure. Murray State was acknowledged several times as a collaborative partner helping to increase the water supply for the surrounding area. PSP students submit group projects in April on water conservation.

The Murray State College President's Scholars Program (PSP) visited Tishomingo Elementary School to read books to the students.

The Murray State College Musical Theatre Ensemble Class held a student performance for their final project inside Fletcher Auditorium this week.

Award-winning author, Rilla Askew, visited Murray State to discuss her latest book "Prize for the Fire."

Oklahoma Rifle Association President Mark Vaughn, Vice President David Gaskill and Amber Parrow toured Murray's gunsmithing building and the new Murray State College Shotgun Team Training Facility.

Sophomore Soccer Dinner

The Murray State soccer teams held their annual sophomore dinner this week to celebrate their record-breaking seasons.

Peruzo Tabbed Second Team All-American

Murray State College men's soccer player, Lucas Peruzo, was named a NJCAA DI Second-Team All-American. The sophomore had a breakout season for the Aggies as he tallied a team-high 15 goals and 11 assists during the 2023 campaign. Peruzo's 11 assists ranked him fourth in NJCAA DI in total assists this season.

Carter Qualifies for WCRA Stampede at the E

Murray State calf roper Blake Carter will travel to Las Vegas in January to compete in the WCRA Stampede. He is currently ranked No. 4 in the Central Region.

Aggies Win in Texas

Tarrance Austin's driving layup with less than a second remaining provided the game winner as Murray State defeated Paris Junior College, 58-57.

The Murray State women's basketball team was victorious over Panola College, 82-75.
