Murray State Hosts Manufacturing Day

Murray State Industrial Engineering Instructor Lonny Goff hosted students from four local high schools on the Tishomingo campus. The students heard from different companies in the manufacturing industry.

Students had the opportunity to visit our CAD Lab, where they were shown the hands-on applications in the manufacturing fields.

Murray State Holds Public Forum in Tishomingo

Murray State College hosted a public forum at The Doghouse event center.

Community members and partners were invited to share ideas on putting the College's long-range strategic plan into action. The plan provides a vision for Murray's future.

The Johnston County Industrial Authority brought together communities in Johnston County as well as Chickasaw Nation and Murray State College to help create a better environment to promote prosperity.

Murray's Livestock Judging Team Members Place

So far this season, Cheyenne Sanders has placed 7th in cattle and 22nd overall at the State Fair of Texas.

Cheyenne placed 2nd and Carsen Lewter placed 5th in the Buck Cattle Company Contest.

The full team placed 12th in sheep and goats at the Tulsa State Fair; and placed 9th at the State Fair of Texas.

Murray State Women's Soccer Makes Playoffs

With their win against NEO on Wednesday, the ladies advance to the playoffs.

They will play at noon on Thursday, Oct. 27 in Enid, Oklahoma.
