Murray State College and the Chickasaw Nation Sign Agreement

Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby and Murray State College President Dr. Tim Faltyn recently signed an agreement that serves as a foundation to provide Chickasaw students who are participating in the Chokka' Kilimpi' (Strong Home) Recruitment and Retention program at Murray, quality secondary education opportunities.

Murray State College Fall 2022 Nursing Pinning

Last Thursday, 28 students in the Fall 2022 Murray State College Nursing Program received their pin from a loved one. The countless hours spent morning and night, inside and outside of the classroom all led up to their day of celebration.


The pinning ceremony signifies that the students have joined the sisterhood and brotherhood of nurses and are ready to serve society as a healthcare professional. Now begins their next chapter in life.

Murray State College Vet Nursing Hosts Santa Night

The Murray Vet Nursing program hosted Santa Night at the Johnston County Fair Barn. Kids 10 years of age and younger got to eat cookies, drink hot chocolate, sing Christmas carols - oh and of course see Santa and tell him their Christmas wish list.

"Have a Murry Christmas"

Murray Aggies wished everyone a "Murray Christmas" as they traveled through the Festival of Lights Parade in Ardmore and the Christmas Festival Parade in Tishomingo.

Breakfast with Santa

The Johnston County Chamber of Commerce brought Breakfast with Santa to Murray's Student Union on Saturday.


Everyone got to enjoy a hearty breakfast and then move to the craft area to make different ornaments.


Santa and Mrs. Claus waited patiently for the boys and girls to have their photo taken with them.

Murray State College Festival of Lights Display

Murray was honored to hosted Tishomingo students for a performance in Fletcher Auditorium.
