Catch up on what's happening at Murray State!

Community organizations visited both Murray State campuses this week to meet with students, staff and faculty. They shared information, played games and awarded prizes.

Congratulations to Theresa Brown for winning the $50 cash cup drawing at the Ardmore Aggies All In.

As the first week of school comes to an end, here's a look back at some of the other activities hosted by Murray State's Student Affairs group.

Adara Harper provided entertainment for everyone at Ardmore.

Ardmore PD brought therapy dogs Rip, Dooly and CoCo by the Ardmore campus for a visit.

The BCM provided lunch on Wednesday.

KTEN Reporter Alex Porter traveled to Murray State in Tishomingo to continue his story on the new gunsmithing degree and facility.

Murray State President Dr. Tim Faltyn and Murray State Shotgun Team Head Coach Scott Robertson discussed the importance of gunsmithing, the connection with Murray's Shotgun Team and the firearm industry.

Murray State students and community members filled the stands Wednesday night, as the Murray State Rodeo Team hosted a showcase.

The 50 members competed against each other in their respective events. This was their version of a "home game."

Attendees also enjoyed BBQ sandwiches, chips and watermelon, courtesy of Great Western Dining.

The Murray State College Foundation is the steward of three scholarships for rodeo student athletes. Donors for two of the three scholarships joined Executive Director Jordyn Frazier to present this year's recipients with a certificate.

Murray State President Dr. Tim Faltyn welcomed everyone to the night's festivities.

Congratulations, Sam Seimer on being awarded the Dustin Gaskey Memorial Scholarship. Sam competes in tie-down roping.
