Murray State Sees Big Jump in Enrollment

For the second straight year, Murray State's enrollment and credit hours have increased, 18% and 19%, respectively.

Murray implemented a new enrollment management system to streamline the recruitment, admissions and advisement process for new students.

Legislative Luncheon in Ardmore

Murray State's Vice President of Ardmore Ginger Cothran and Public Information Officer Robyn Peterson attended the legislative luncheon hosted by the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce.

Guest speaker Congressman Tom Cole provided updates on what is happening at the United States Capitol.

Men's Golf Ranked in Top 10

Fresh off of a third-place finish at the Hesston Fall Kickoff, the Murray State College men's golf team claimed the No. 10 ranking in the first installment of the NJCAA DII Coaches Poll.

The Aggies return to the course Sept. 18-19 for the NJCAA National Preview. The tournament is held at Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Missouri.

Vaca Fires Lowest MSC Round in 5 Years

Murray State College women's golfer, Skye Vaca, had it all working at The Ridge Golf Club yesterday as she recorded the program's lowest round of golf in five years with a final-round 79.

Women's Soccer Ranked in NJCAA Coaches Poll

The Murray State College women’s soccer team earned the No. 20 ranking in the NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll this week. Kaylee Foster has tallied a team-high nine goals on the season, while Jimena Guevara has 19 saves to help the Lady Aggies to a 6-1 start.

Kaylee Foster was named the NJCAA Region II Player of the Week on Wednesday.

The sophomore scored three goals and registered four assists in Murray State's two victories last week over Rose State College and Connors State College.

They will battle Redlands Community College at home on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m.

Men's Soccer Defeats Cowboys

The Murray State College men's soccer team played Connors State College in their lone game of the week. The Aggies dominated the Cowboys as they cruised to a 4-2 win. They will host No. 12 Eastern Oklahoma State on Sept. 13 at 4 p.m.

Livestock Judging Team off to Excellent Start

The Murray State College Livestock Judging Team began the season with a great day at the first annual Stockman's Sort hosted by Goss Livestock.

Haiden Thayn claimed third place overall in an extremely competitive field, while Crae McPhie finished in the No. 13 position.
