Murray's Shotgun Team, FBLA, PTK and the women's basketball team were recognized. Each team coach introduced their team members and highlighted the achievements made.

A special presentation was given by Murray State PTK student Justin Whittington. A poem that he wrote was selected and published in PTK's anthology journal - only 24 students were selected from more than 1,000 entries. His instructor, Tracey Hickman, had the honor of reading Justin's poem to everyone.
