Murray State's FBLA Team Competes at Nationals

Murray State's FBLA team traveled to Orlando, Florida, to compete at the national conference.


Theresa Schultz competed in Emerging Business Issues and Impromptu Speaking, while Claudia Valles presented the Accounting Case Challenge and Job Interview. They also visited exhibit booths, listened to campaign speeches and attended workshops. 


Advisers Kathy Bowen, Alex Lancaster and Cyndi Stoker served as Competitive Event Coordinators for other events.

Our own adviser Cyndi Stoker and team member Theresa Schultz were recognized on the national state for Oklahoma honors.

Fathers and Family Day in Ardmore

Murray State hosted the Carter County OSU Extension's Fathers and Family Day at Murray's Ardmore campus. Approximately 250 kids and families came out for fun and games.

Organizations such as Strong Dads Program, Oklahoma Families First, Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness and Ardmore Literacy Leadership were on hand to provide information about their resources available to families.

Murray State Aggies Travel Abroad

Murray State students and staff traveled abroad to Greece and Italy as part of the Murray State Aggies Abroad program. They visited Athens, Florence, Rome and Tuscany. All the while seeing many of the world's most impressive archeological sites and stunning scenery.

Coppedge Receives TPI Certification

Murray State Golf Coach Coppedge received his new Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Medical Certification. This will allow Murray State's golfers to dramatically improve their player performance and provide a much deeper understanding of their body-swing connection.

Red, White and Boom 4th of July Parade & Celebration

Murray State students, faculty and staff participated in Tishomingo's 4th of July parade. The patriotic float placed second.

Website Scavenger Hunt Week 1 Winner

Marion Wilson was the website scavenger hunt week 1 winner of our four-week long website scavenger hunt. She received a $50 Visa gift card for her efforts.

Murray State Hosts Community Outreach Ceramics Class

Murray State had 14 community members attend the College's final ceramics workshop of a three-week series. They put their skills to the test and sculpted their own ceramic bowls, and then add more of their own artistic flare by painting the bowls before taking them home.
