Murray State College and Southern Tech signed an agreement to benefit students in the Murray State College LPN to RN Nursing program and Southern Tech Practical Nursing.

Murray State Holds Public Forum in Ardmore

Murray State College hosted a public forum at the Ardmore Event Center.

Community members and partners were invited to share ideas on putting the College's long-range strategic plan into action. The plan provides a vision for Murray's future.

Murray State College Selects 2022 OACC Award Winners

Murray's own Susan Yeager, Terri Greer and Sandi Hopson were selected as this year's Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges (OACC) award winners.

Susan Yeager was selected as the Faculty of the Year. She is the Dean of Communications and Performance Studies, and has been at Murray for 7 years.

Terri Greer was selected as the Staff of the Year. She is the College librarian and has been with Murray since July 2021.

Sandi Hopson was voted as the Support Staff of the Year. She is the Murray State College Gunsmithing program office assistant, and has been a part of the Murray family for 11 years.

Murray's Own Kagan Davis Wins Barrel Racing Championship

Murray State College’s own rodeo student Kagan Davis won the Savage Storm Barrel Racing Championship in Durant, Oklahoma.

Davis beat out 140 other contestants. She earned a spot in the finals after placing second on the first night. From there, Davis brought home the big win. She finished the championship round with the fastest time in event. This was Davis’ second trip to the finals this season, which this was only the third rodeo.

Murray State Soccer Teams Win On The Road

Both teams beat Crowder College this past week.

The men's team will end their season at home, and the women will play their last home game, both versus Northeastern A&M Oklahoma College on Wednesday, the 19th.
