Livestock Judging Wins Big in Arizona

Haiden Thayn was named the high individual in the overall division and finished second place in sheep and goats, swine, cattle and reasons.

Eli Stamps - 5th Overall

Andrea Pruitt - 5th Overall

Connor Hamilton - 4th in Swine

Carli Doerge - 5th in sheep and goats

Safe Schools Training

Tishomingo Police Chief Shannon Smith presented to Murray State faculty about how to handle active shooters depending on their location on campus. He provided numerous examples and scenarios, as well as his life-experienced expertise in the field as a firearms training supervisor.

Murray State Nursing Boot Camp

President Faltyn welcomed the 58 new Career Mobility program students as they begin their journey to becoming a nurse.


The students also participated in breakout sessions as part of their orientation boot camp.


This year, there are 250 students in the nursing program.

Show Team Member Wins Livestock Show

Murray State College Livestock Show Team member Kirsten Walck exhibited the Champion Market Lamb at the Arizona National Livestock Show.

Aggies Begin Region Play with a Win

The Murray State College men's basketball team opened Region play with a road victory against Seminole State College, 81-71.


The Aggie men's and women's basketball teams return to the court for home games against NOC-Tonkawa on Thursday, January 18.

Carter Competes in Stampede at the E

Blake Carter participated at the WCRA Stampede at the E in Las Vegas. The Murray State College tie-down roper earned the opportunity to compete in the qualifying rounds against the best ropers in the country.
