Murray State College joined the Ardmore Development Authority and SouthernTech in co-hosting the South Central Oklahoma Workforce Summit at the Murray State Event Center on Thursday. The Summit focused on career exploration and internship opportunities.

"Dolly Day"
Murray State volunteers read books to children at the Tishomingo Elementary School and Chickasaw Nation Head Start Friday morning.
Murray State College Foundation participated in "Dolly Day" on Friday. "Dolly Day" is a celebration of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which is a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.
The Foundation is the Imagination Library affiliate for Johnston County, service 267 youth each month.

John Krieger, owner of Krieger Barrels, and Sharon Dressel, owner of Paul & Sharon Dressel Gunstocks, visited Murray State College to speak to the Gunsmithing students on Tuesday.
Aggies Sweep NOC-Tonkawa
The Murray State College Women's Basketball Team defeated NOC-Tonkawa to improve to 9-4 on the season with a 68-61 victory on Thursday night.
The Murray State College Men's Basketball Team knocked off NOC-Tonkawa to improve to 2-0 in Region play with an 82-59 win inside Beames Fieldhouse.
