Murray State Cross Country Team Makes History

For the first time in school history, Murray State College Cross Country Men's Team won the Carl Albert State College meet. The women's team place 2nd.

Abby Salter earned the 3rd place medal in the women's

Jacob Robinson earned the 3rd place medal in the men's.

Art Exhibit Reception - "Horizons"

Artists Alan Burris and Rudy Ellis presented their paintings and photography in the "Horizons" art exhibit. Both are well known local and national artists who have won many awards in various shows.


Alan is a Murray State College professor emeritus. Rudy is a sought-after curator in addition to his reputation as an artist.


The "Horizons" photography and painting exhibit will be displayed until September 15th at the Murray State Ardmore Campus.

Murray State's Assistant Vice President of External Affairs Jordyn Frazier was a guest speaker at one of the conference’s sessions: County Economic Development: Your Project’s Assist Leader

Frazier is the Murray State board representative for the Johnston County Industrial Authority. She talked about the county’s housing project and how it is spurring new development.

SSS Syllabus Organization Workshop

Student Support Services hosted a workshop to help students organize their syllabus information. They worked on time management skills, organization and developing a routine to help set students up for success in their academics.

Agriculture Aggie Bash

Murray State's agriculture students spent the evening getting to know each other during intense games of kickball and cornhole.

Cross Country Teams Open Inaugural Season

The Murray State Cross Country teams opened their inaugural season at the Northwest Arkansas opener. The men's team placed 2nd with a pair of Top-10 placers, Josh Armstrong and Ben Hernandez. The women's team placed 3rd and also finished with two in the Top 10 standings, Abby Salter and Zoe Jones.

Murray State Soccer Players of the Week

Iker Arriola was named the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Goalie of the Week.


Men's Soccer Traveled to Jacksonville, TX, to play against Jacksonville College and won 8-0

Takiela Griffiths was named the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week


Alexis Lopez was named the National and Region 2 Player of the week.

Men's Soccer Moves to #10 in NJCAA Poll

After winning three consecutive games to start the season, the Murray State College men's soccer team moved up to the No. 10 ranking in the NJCAA Week One Coaches Poll, released by the national office.

Men's and Women's Soccer Start Their Seasons Undefeated

The Murray State College men's and women's soccer teams are off to a strong start this season. The lady aggies are at a 3-0 start after their last game against Connors State on Wednesday in Tishomingo.


The men's soccer team is also off to a 4-0 start after their win against Connors Start on Wednesday.

The Murray State Cross Country team members assisted with the Tishomingo Elementary School Cross Country meet on Tuesday.
