Oklahoma OTA Conference

Dr. Faltyn spoke at the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association Conference today in Ardmore.

President Dr. Faltyn's HLC Visit

Murray State President Dr. Faltyn visited a New Mexico institution of higher education as part of a consultant evaluator team representing 5 different states.


Dr. Faltyn has been a peer evaluator for more than 20 years and serves on the HLC Institutional Actions Council. This work helps him stay current, learn best practices and give back to the higher education industry that he loves for 30 years.

Murray State Faculty and Staff Attend Reading and Literacy Conference

Murray State Language Arts faculty and Academic Resource Center staff traveled to Edmond to attend the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education Reading and Literacy Conference.

EmpowHer Event

Murray State college recruiters, Brooklyn Hays and Ashton Heffington, represented the college at the EmpowHer event this past weekend in Ardmore.


The event was hosted by the Good Shepherd Clinic.

Ardmore Aviation Dinner

Murray State College sponsored the Inaugural Ardmore Aviation Dinner on Thursday night.

The Murray State College baseball team had a couple of surprise visitors at their most recent intra-squad scrimmage - current Houston Astros Minor League Baseball pitcher Colby Langford and current Southeastern Oklahoma State University catcher Brady Evans.

Andrews Wins Saddlebronc Championship

Cason Andrews won the Novice Saddlebronc Division Championship in the World Finals of the Professional Youth Roughstock Association!



By winning the championship, the Murray State Freshman qualified for the PYRA Finals and received a $7,000 college scholarship!

Men's Soccer Receives National Attention

The Men's Soccer Team jumped into the NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Top-20 Rankings this week. The Aggies currently hold the No. 17 spot in the poll!


The Aggies are 7-1-1 and are in second place in the Region II standings.

Congratulations to Men's Soccer Goalkeeper, Jaron Noble, for being named the NJCAA Region II and National Player of the Week! Noble tallied 9 saves in two contests last week to help extend Murray State's win streak to three matches.

Women's Soccer Records 8th Shutout of Season

Murray State College's defense has been tremendous this season as the Lady Aggies have only allowed one goal in their last five matches.


They currently hold an impressive 10-1-1 record this year and sit in second place in the Region II Standings.

Lawrence Records Top-10 Finish

Lawrence notched a Top-10 finish in Day 2 Session 1 of the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash this past weekend.


Lawrence hauled in a 3.8 lb. bass to earn 10th place. Those results moved the Bass Fishing Team up 26 spots to No. 32 in the nation out of 375 colleges. They compete this weekend in Grove, Oklahoma.
