Adult Choir & New Mass Setting for 10:30 a.m.

The Adult Choir returned last Sunday with descants and anthems enhancing our worship after their summer vacation.

The Volunteer Choir celebrates 45 years of ministry this year and as an ensemble, we continue to grow and develop with enthusiasm and intention. I am grateful to all our volunteer singers and professional section leaders: Lisa, Marisa, Aaron, and Michael.

Alongside the return of the choir, we have a new mass setting for the Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus, and Agnus Dei. This setting by African American composer, Carl Haywood (b. 1949) will help us expand our repertoire as a congregation while bringing new music (written in 2024) to our worship.

You can preview the scores here and listen to the setting sung by another choir by clicking here.

Children's Choir Choristers Ministry

The Children's Choir Choristers prepare for their first time formally leading the 9 a.m. worship last Sunday.

The Children's Choir Choristers will now formally lead the music at the 9 a.m. service on the second Sunday of every month.

Their participation in worship helps solidify the musical, liturgical, and myriad of excellent learning they do each Wednesday in their rehearsal.

We now have 11 children and families registered in our program and have capacity to engage many more young musicians.

If you know a child who loves to sing, please reach out to Tyrone Whiting, or our Children, Youth, & Families Music Director, Ms. Julia Finegan.
