ALICE in New Mexico: Shining a Light on Working Families in Crisis

Though they are vital to our communities—working in roles that keep our local economies running—ALICE families often live one emergency away from financial disaster.

United Way of North Central New Mexico, in partnership with other key funders, is committed to bringing ALICE data to New Mexico. Each year, we’ll receive detailed reports covering the financial realities of our state, cities, and neighborhoods. This data highlights the hidden struggles of ALICE households and helps shift the conversation about economic hardship, resources, and public policy.

This initiative aims to unite corporations, small businesses, policymakers, and nonprofits to create meaningful solutions and better support the essential workers and families who are the backbone of New Mexico.
