Cellist KYUNG EUN CHOI
enjoys an international career as a performer and pedagogue. She received her Bachelor degree at Seoul National University, Master's degree with Distinction at the Royal Northern College of Music in UK, and Doctoral degree with a full scholarship at USC. Winner of the Gold medal at Japan's Kirishima International Music Competition, Dr. Choi has enjoyed success in prestigious national and international competitions and has been invited to teach and perform at many renowned cello festivals. As a soloist, she has performed in many major concert halls with renowned orchestras in Europe and Asia. She is a faculty member at Seoul National University. Info
Soprano JUNGWON CHOI
graduated from Kyung Hee University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Voice Performance and has a Graduate Certificate in Vocal Arts at the USC Thornton School of Music. Most recently, she sang the role of Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro with San Jose Opera. A First Prize winner of the Joong-Ang competition and the KBS Competition in Korea, she was awarded the Chambre Professionnelle des Directeurs d'Opera Special Prize at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing competition in Austria. She was L.A. District Winner in the Metropolitan National Council Auditions. Info
Pianist SO-MANG JEAGAL
is a recipient of the Grand Prize at the Korea Music Foundation Competition and the First Prize at the Dong-A Music Competition and Asia-Pacific Young Artist Competition. In 2014, he won First Prize at two renowned international competitions, the Washington International Competition for Piano and the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. Born in Daegu, South Korea, he received Bachelor and Master degrees with highest honors from Seoul National University. He received the Artist Diploma with a full scholarship at the USC Thornton School of Music. He has performed at the Salzburger Schloss Konzerte of Austria, Konzerthaus of Germany, La Madeleine of France, Seoul Arts Center, J. F. Kennedy Center and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Info
Pianist BETH NAM
has performed at prestigious institutions and venues, such as Carnegie Weil Recital Hall and Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall, and has also won numerous competitions and scholarships including the Five Towns Music and Art Foundation Young Musician Competition and the 15th Annual Young Pianist Beethoven Competition.
Beth received Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees at The Juilliard School of Music where she was a recipient of several teaching fellowships. As a chamber musician, Ms. Nam is a member of the Allant trio which recently released their first album. She is an adjunct professor at the Biola University, interim piano faculty at Occidental College, director of choir and orchestra at the California Academy of Mathematics and Science. Info

ormed in the fall of 2015, the string quartet
was awarded First Prize at the International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso in London, and Fourth Prize at the Schoenfeld International String Competition in Harbin, China. LAE is active in the greater Los Angeles area performing regularly in concert.
Individually, its members are winners of international competitions and have trained in leading music schools worldwide.

The New York City-based pianist made her orchestral debut at 14 in Armenia and her solo Carnegie Hall debut at 23. Kariné has won numerous awards and has performed on some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. Her CD, Khachaturian Original Piano Works and Ballet Transcriptions, was released on the Naxos label. She received her MM and D.M.A. degrees at the Manhattan School of Music, where she is currently on the faculty.
