1/18/13- Roshambeaux
Roshambeaux' rock sensibilities lie in the juxtaposition of styles Kyle Obermeier and Jarret Chastain were imbued with as children. Obermeier's mom and dad sang Aretha Franklin, Elvis, The Drifters.
"I learned to play piano from one of the ladies at church and learned harmony by singing gospel tunes with my mom." Obermeier's parents were racially mixed. "It made me socially, personally and musically ahead of the game."
"My family did not have reunions; we had jam sessions." Jarret Chastain remembers. "My dad bought me a drum set when I was ten, set up the radio to play ZZ Top and said, 'Son,play along'!" Chastain's family supported his musical talent, especially his dad and grandmother.
"They're gone now. I promised them I would never stop playing and doing what I loved."
All ages welcome. No cover charge.
1/19/13- Brandon Reeves
Brandon Reeves has spent the last 6 years bringing his blend of roots and soul to the southeast with over 500 gigs since 2008. Brandon's music is a cross between the guitar playing of John Hurt, the songwriting wit of John Prine and the soulful vocals of Sam Cooke. He has also shared the stage with Tab Benoit, Mark Rivera of Hall & Oates band and Ringo Starr's All Star Band, and members of the Zac Brown Band. In December of 2009 Athens, Georgia's Flagpole magazine said "It's the less overtly bluesy songs that end up being the most pleasing. Just like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton once did, Reeves takes elements of the genre and builds songs around them-although to a much different effect than those two. The end result is undeniably more exciting than hearing a Robert Johnson tune rehashed by a modern blues musician for the hundredth time. Instead, Reeves arrives at a fusion of country, Western and alt-rock with the underlying blues influence perforating every note".
1/25/13- Adam Kadmon
Adam Kadmon has come by his musical talent honestly. The great-grandson of a former orchestra leader and musician in 1930's Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Adam has long been showcasing his musical talents. Adam played continuously in the Savannah area from 2008-2010, where he performed music influenced by Hendrix, The Doors, and the acoustic stylings of John Mayer. Upon moving to the North Georgia area in 2010 he - by accident - became a focal point of the Atlanta hip hop scene. He performed with the neo-soul band "The Benjammins" around the city in multiple venues including the famed Underground Atlanta club "Scores" and the Sweet Auburn Festival. As a result, Adam plays and sings various styles of music, with originals blending acoustic folk, blues and hip-hop jam funk - always tasteful.

FRIDAY LIVE MUSIC:
Jan 18: Erick Jones
Erick Jones: Rock and roll with a touch of Americana. He is influenced by bands such as the Black keys. Performing with the Atlanta based country-rock band American Anodyne, the North Georgia folk group Ugly Cousin, or solo acoustic his narrative storytelling draws upon the trials of small-town life in the south, drunken revelry, and searching for redemption in the era of the "new depression".
Jan 25: Stoned Sandwich
"Just a couple of guys playing a couple of covers..." www.facebook.com/stonedsandwich
Stoned Sandwich - Originally from Habersham, Corey Noggle and Cody Morris were just your average farm boys. And just like everyone else they put on their pants one leg at a time. Until Cody lost his leg. Then he technically still put on his pants one leg at a time, but with less legs. But through the magic of musical medicine, he regenerated his leg and got to kickin' on the 6-string. The story of Corey Noggle was less exciting.
