We are delighted to announce the roster of Music@Menlo 2019 International Program artists. An extraordinary group of young musicians selected after a highly competitive audition process, the artists boast a wide range of international prizes and accolades. They come from top music schools including the Yale School of Music, Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Curtis Institute of Music, Rice University, University of Southern California, and Mozarteum University.
Hailing from Israel, South Korea, Taiwan, Venezuela, and the United States, this year’s cohort of young artists has performed on some of the world’s greatest stages including Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, and at the Kennedy Center. They have performed with legendary classical music figures including Maxim Vengerov, Leonard Slatkin, and Kim Kashkashian and with leading ensembles such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, and the Mariinsky Orchestra.
Audience members will have the opportunity to see these extraordinary musicians perform in Music@Menlo’s hugely popular Prelude Performances and alongside seasoned main-stage artists in an Overture Concert this summer. See below for more information on these exciting young stars of chamber music.
