Chamblee First UMC Family,
We are saddened to announce the resignation of Zack Wright, our Director of Music Ministries. Zack has decided to step down due to the expanding duties of his school career and his family life, which have made it challenging to balance with the needs of Chamblee First UMC.
In his short time with us, Zack has grown our choir and elevated our music ministry. In addition, his dedication and talents have brought us wonderful performances, from a beautiful Christmas Cantata to the recent performance of Gloria.
While we are saddened to see Zack and his son Oliver leave, we are grateful for the impact they have made at Chamblee First UMC. They will be dearly missed. Please join us in celebrating Zack and Oliver on Sunday, May 18th, during the 10:45 AM service.
In the interim, Lauren Sangster will return as our interim Music Director for June and July while the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) searches for a new Director of Music Ministry. We are confident that Lauren will lead us during this transitional period.
Please be in prayer for Zack, Oliver, and our church during this transitional time.
