Dear friend
In the hot and lazy days of summer, Dranoff is finalizing the 2021/2022 Season. We plan for in-person concerts, with artists able to travel from abroad to Miami and our friends, safe from a renewed viral onslaught. But if that were not to be, last year has certainly taught us how to produce exciting and creative experiences at the intersection of virtual, cyber and real life!
The new season will explore the spectrum of great composers and the music that our neighbors have brought with them in their migrations to Miami. Given this moment of impending change in the island that has so shaped the communities in South Florida, we start with two pieces from Cuba, one from then, and one from now. Let’s hope dance and joy will soon return to "Pearl of the Antilles."
