We are heading to Miami this week for a special concert presented by the Dranoff 2 Piano Foundation.
Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman was conceived for the 2021 Makrokosmos Project festival and it is a joy to return to our exploration of exceptional women composers.
We are thrilled to present the complete two piano music of Meredith Monk interspersed with readings of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Our dear friend Kristin Podack will join us on stage as RBG.
Ghosts of Cascadia, a haunting new two piano work by Portland based composer Kirsten Volness will receive its world premiere. Rounding out the program is music by Gabriela Lena Frank, Chen Yi and Hiromi Uehara. Thursday, March 2 at 7:30pm. For tickets and information, click here.
