The Dranoff2 Season presenting 7 concert events begins next month. Season subscription will go on sale on August 25.
One of the concerts was conceptualized by Duo Stephanie & Saar as their 7th Makrokosmos Project, “Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman,” in Portland a year ago. They will pay tribute to composers from the past and the present, Clara Schumann, Meredith Monk, Hiromi Uehara.
So today I want to feature Stephanie & Saar playing a piece from the Chinese American Composer Chen Yi.
I am so looking forward to share our season with you! Not only will we discover all sorts of great music – we will do it fantastic locations all over Miami.
