MUSIC MONDAYS

Dear Gabriele,

Please support PIANOSLAM15 this year.

PIANOSLAM has engaged almost 110,000 teenagers in music performance and arts integrated education since 2007. The program has  provided professional education for teachers to use music as an inspiration for the development of language and writing skills. ALL provided by the Dranoff2 Piano FREE to schools and to teachers. FREE to children and their families.

Dranoff is an arts organization. We engage musicians for concert performances in schools and the community. We pay  teaching artists and writing instructors to conduct workshops. We hire  production professionals, video specialists and editors. Those costs and those fees come from you, our patrons and friends.

There are three things you can do right now to support PIANOSLAM

#1 - Buy your VIP PIANOSLAM tickets with access to the after party.

#2 - Donate to Dranoff Spring Fund Drive.

#3 - Bring your friends.

Please do 123. And ENJOY

Warmly,

Gabriele Fiorentino

Duo Spektra

Inesa Gegprifti & Redi Llupa

Born in Tirana, Albania, Dr. Gegprifti has appeared in concerts across the U.S.A., Europe, and South America as a soloist and chamber musician. Of note are the performances with the National Radio Television Orchestra of Albania and the Indian Hill Orchestra, chamber concerts in Italy, Slovenia, and Puerto Rico, as well as artist residencies at the “Vivace Vilnius International Summer Festival,” International Portogruaro Festival “A tempo,” the Conservatory of Cuenca, and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Ecuador.

Dr. Redi Llupa has distinguished himself by performing in prestigious venues in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. An avid advocate of contemporary repertoire, Llupa continuously collaborates with and performs music by living composers.

Since 2015, he worked closely with Pulitzer Prize winning composer George Walker. He gave the world premiere performance of Walker’s complete piano sonatas in 2017 at Kaleidoscope MusArt’s concert season.

THKOH TAKA

 Afrobeta Synth Dance Band

Miami duo Afrobeta was formed in 2006 by by lyricist/vocalist Cuci Amador and synth-centric producer/arranger Smurphio. Their mutual love of catchy songwriting, Cuban pastries, and dancing til' 5 AM, is what initially inspired them to make music together. They have performed at some of the largest music festivals and venues in the world including Glastonbury, Space Ibiza, Burning Man, Ultra Music Festival editions in Miami, South Korea and Brazil, Camp Bisco, and Identity Festival.

Their fourth full-length album Illusion Motel was released in fall 2020 on their imprint, Pubic Zirconia.

The documentary Birthright follows Afrobeta as they are invited to perform in Havana, Cuba. The duo’s desire to visit their parents’ homeland ignites a surreal journey into who they are, where they come from, and what being Cuban really means. Birthright recently premiered as the closing night film at the Miami International Film Festival.
