Blues in the UV

Watch the groundbreaking film Sinners (4/17) and join A Celebration of Sinners (4/18), featuring live performance by MS blues artist Steven Johnson, the grandson of Robert Johnson who inspired the film. Steven made his first Upper Valley visit in 2023 to JAM as part of Samantha Davidson Green’s film with Robert Johnson's living descendents. Watch the short doc premiering this week locally on JAM. He was so hot, Dartmouth is bringing him back!

No Kings in Hanover

Watch drone artist William Daugherty’s short documentary on the 3/28 No Kings protest in Hanover and Lyme Road as part of hundreds of protests that drew millions into streets across the country. See JAM’s coverage of the protests and memorial for victims of ICE in White River Junction and the protests in Lebanon here.

Rock the thrift!

Celebrate the birth (more like one-year anniversary) of Kis Thrift with a joyous performance from singer-songwriter extraordinaire (and JAM Audio Producer!) Sir Babygirl and bandmate Larz Brogan, as they sing songs from his upcoming album, dance with the crowd, and opine about the unique artsiness of the Upper Valley.

That One Movie

What makes a movie special? Join Noah Mauchly as he sits down with friends, family, and artists to discuss what “that one movie” is for them!

S2 Ep 1: Kick off the new season of That One Movie with Josh Rosen, who returns off the heels of PTA’s first Oscar wins to dive into his flawed 1999 masterpiece Magnolia. Together, Noah and Josh break down PTA’s early, reckless instincts, why some of them don’t work but also what makes them so impactful.

JAM relies on diverse funding sources to sustain our nonprofit community media services promoting civic engagement and transparency in local government. We wish to thank the Comcast and VTel cable subscribers, voters in our service area towns, the State of Vermont, individual donors, local business sponsors, and public and private foundations who make JAM's work possible.
