Musical Soundscapes
and the
Reel Deal

We irreverently write this month with a 'QuickNotes' version of Musical Soundscapes. Let's jump right in with the question of how do physical architectural shape, design and materials affect the sound qualities of a live music performance? In our very own Norwalk Concert Hall, a completely new sound system was just installed. But how do we actually hear the music performed in it?

This month, we also have some fabulous news to share. Saving the best for last, we've also placed it at the end.

Concerto Artists

Over the years we have hosted many talented artists as soloists with the Symphony. As we work to digitize our audio reels for your future enjoyment, we share with you here a list of our guest Concerto artists from the past decade - under the baton of Maestro Yates.
