WHY I AM IN THE UNION: Jim has been a life long member of the A.F. of M., first joining while still a student. "My goal was always to be a professional musician so there was never any doubt in my mind that I should be a member of the A.F. of M. That decision I made so many years ago has an undergraduate student has led to many opportunities throughout my career. It was the right decision for me and I think it's still the right decision for young musicians seeking a career in music."
