Epiphany 2023

Visit our Website

From Ron...

Beginning Sunday, April 30, 2023 we’ll be offering a weekly, resource-rich, live-streamed videocast featuring interviews with composers, authors, storytellers and other contemporary creative types who will also share some of their work. The project is being produced by MUSIKLUS in partnership with RURAL CONNECT and SPIRITUALITY BEYOND BORDERS.

Musical leadership will be provided by The Imperfect Volunteer Choir. In addition to leading live sing-along selections, the choir will learn new hymns, songs and anthems 'on-air'. We’re designing a bidirectional format which will permit online participants to 'learn along', ask questions and make comments.

Program content will be theme-centred and/or based on Revised Common Lectionary four weeks in advance to allow planning and implementation time for participants who wish to use any of the program resources. The videocast will be appear online simultaneously in all Canadian time zones, originating in BC on Sundays at 3:00 pm (Pacific). All programs will be archived on our Vimeo channel (no ad interruptions!), but the two-way participation will only be available for the live casts.

We’re over-the-moon with gratitude for our production partners who are helping us bring this dream to reality.

More information to follow in subsequent newsletters. Woo-hoo!!!

Instrumental Videos for Worship

We offer a new 'heritage hymn' instrumental video suitable for use as a prelude or musical prayer. Arranged and played by Ron Klusmeier, the tune for this 8th century hymn text is a traditional Irish melody (SLANE).
