Victoria Peak will always have a special place in my heart. It’s a serene escape from the constant movement in Hong Kong. The panoramic views are breathtaking, with the city sprawling beneath like a glittering mosaic. Whenever I need to just listen to my thoughts, I go up here.

One easy Sunday morning, as I climbed Victoria Peak, I was struck by the tranquil ambiance and the serene cityscape below as usual — a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. It made me ponder: for such a vibrant city, are there any thrilling adventures nearby? This question lingered in my mind for days.

Driven by curiosity, I mentioned this sentiment in passing to my Gen Z colleague. That’s when she mentioned to me Skypark Macau Tower, the world’s highest adventure park. Just a short trip from Hong Kong, this under-the-radar and underrated hotspot offers more than a magnificent view of Macau and Hong Kong. Imagine this: standing 233 metres above ground, the wind whipping through your hair, as you prepare for the world’s highest commercial bungee jump. The Down Low on Skypark Macau Tower

The park is just an hour from Hong Kong, easily accessible by ferry or via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge — a spectacular 55-kilometre bridge-tunnel system, the longest sea crossing and open-sea fixed link in the world.

At Skypark Macau Tower, guests are immersed in the adventurous world of its founder, AJ Hackett, a New Zealand entrepreneur who pioneered bungee jumping. In 2007, he set a Guinness World Record with the highest commercial bungee jump from this very site. Skypark Macau Tower reflects Hackett’s vision of making gravity-defying thrills accessible across Asia.

Bungy Jumping

With guests jumping feet-first while attached to a wire cable, they’ll descend the full length of the Macau Tower in just about 17 seconds, just like a stuntman. The controlled glide of Skyjump allows them to take in the breathtaking views of Macau, providing not only a unique perspective of the cityscape and the ocean but also a memorable experience. The jump concludes with a gentle landing, leaving travellers with a profound sense of accomplishment.

Rated by the international Skycrew staff as one of the most challenging and unique experiences available, this climb is perfect for those seeking an unparalleled adventure. Feel the adrenaline surge as each step brings your guests closer to the top, where the ultimate panoramic views and the sense of accomplishment create a memorable and exhilarating experience.
