Mustang Cheerleaders are TOPS!
The ONLY Year Round Athlete!
Let's celebrate and cheer for the ladies who often go unrecognized... our cheerleaders! These ladies cheer from August until March every year- and without much ado! I am a former Mustang cheerleader- so yeah, I am partial... But boy are they amazing!!

Maxine Smith Cheerleaders
looking good, too!
STEM students are creative students! Ever wonder why we celebrate more than just STEM... because our students have varied interests!
Boys Soccer Support Drive!

The wonderful young men of TSTEM Academy @ EHS are in need of uniforms. The boys on our team work hard all year to maintain good academic standing. They are a group of athletic and academic achievers with big dreams but funding is limited for small sport athletics.

Spotlight of the Week
Ms. Madeline Spolin
I grew up in California as part of a big family. Then, I went to college and played soccer at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After college, I moved to Memphis and taught Spanish for 2 years before coming to East T-STEM where I have been teaching Spanish for two years. I am one of the soccer team coaches and I am also the ultimate frisbee coach! I am so excited to be at East T-STEM, and I enjoy planning lessons that motivate my students to love learning Spanish.
Cross Curricular Project between
Biology and Spanish class!
Way to go, Ellis!

In Celebration of Black History Month, Ms. Lee-Connolly and Ms. Spolin took students on a field trip to learn Bomba from Redoble de Cultura, which is an Afro-Puerto Rican dance troupe from New York City! This was organized by Caza Teatro Bilingual Theater. We were the only high school participating in this event!
The BEST students deserve the BEST Teachers... we are waiting for you next year!
