Second shot deadline is approaching!

"Students and trainees must receive their second dose and submit vaccine card within the first 30 days of class."

Vaccination cards can be submitted using the "Vaccination Submission Tile" on the Mustang Mobile App's home screen or submitted to the Admissions Office. Students who do not submit proof of a second vaccination shot will be dropped from classes. (Johnson & Johnson vaccination only require one shot).

Face Mask Policy: In addition to the vaccination policy, "A face covering is required to be worn over the nose, mouth and chin in all indoor public and shared/communal spaces, and outdoors when in a dense crowd, regardless of vaccination status."

How To Get Your Student ID
1. Send an email to Central Services at requesting a student ID card.
2.  Include your student ID number, full name and mailing address.
3.  Attach a vertical head and shoulders (no head tilting) photo of yourself for the card. Snapchat and other app pictures with filters cannot be processed for Student ID cards.
4.  We'll print your card and mail it to you!

CARES Emergency Grants
Students who have unanticipated expenses due to the ongoing pandemic and who are currently enrolled for the fall semester at CMCC as a matriculated student may apply for emergency assistance. You do not have to be eligible for regular financial aid. The request form is available on CM Connect; applications are reviewed and processed by the Office of Financial Aid on a rolling basis.
To complete the application:
-         Log in to CMConnect;
-         Choose the ‘Students’ tab;
-         Choose the ‘Financial Aid’ page;
-         Choose the ‘CMCC Emergency Grant’ section and click on the application link
NEW!!! Introducing Direct Deposit for Student Financial Aid Refunds

Students now have the option of signing up for Direct Deposit! This new feature will allow you to receive your financial aid refunds electronically, rather than having a paper check mailed to you. No more waiting for paper checks to arrive via snail-mail.

Sign up today! All that you need are your bank or credit union’s routing number and your account number.

To sign up for Direct Deposit:
·        Log in to your CM Connect account
·        Go to the Students tab
·        Go to the Payments and Student Billing page
·        Click on the Set Up Direct Deposit Account button and follow the instructions; you
will need your bank account number and bank routing number.
Maine State Grant Extension

It is not too late to apply for financial aid and be considered for all available sources of funding. The May 1st priority filing deadline for the Maine State Grant has been waived and you don't have to be a full-time student to qualify for financial aid. Grant money is still available, so complete your FAFSA today at

What is the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program?

The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for low-income households. If your household is eligible, you can receive:

  • Up to a $50/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals
  • Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
  • A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)

Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
New SNAP Eligibility
Who is eligible?
SNAP eligibility has been temporarily expanded to include college students who are enrolled for at least half time (6 credits per semester) and who:
  • Have a zero expected family contribution (EFC) from their FAFSA; or
  • Are eligible to participate in a work-study program
How to apply:
  1.  Apply online with DHHS
  2. Click on Option 1 "My Maine Connection" then click on the red ‘Sign Up Now” button.
  3. Contact the CMCC Office of Financial Aid and request a ‘SNAP Eligibility Letter’. Include your CMCC ID in the email. Forward this letter to

Maine Quality Center Grant-Funded Programs
Offered at no cost to participants!
Learn both theory and practical skills in Phlebotomy. The training is held September 22 to December on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM from in Lapoint 110.

This certification program teaches strategies to assist children in developing and maintaining daily living skills necessary to remain healthy, safe, and live a full and productive life.
