March is my birthday month, and as such I found myself reflecting on what it has been like trying to navigate medical settings whilst fat and getting older. Weight stigma affects so many people and prevents many from seeking out medical care they need to take care of themselves. My hope is that my own personal story can be helpful to others out there struggling with similar things.
