Lettuce, Baby Leaf Mix - 1/4 lb
Zucchini/Summer Squash - 3 (combo of green zucchini, yellow squash, and/or patty pan) Patty pans can also be blanched and sliced across the circumference to make a decorative saute or stir-fry.
Green Snap Beans - 3/4 lb, Sweet earthy notes come forward as beans mature, especially if you cook until fully tender. They become even more sweet & tender when roasted at high heat or grilled; and braising or stewing is ideal for mature beans.
Yellow Snap Beans - 3/4 lb
Lemon Cucumber - 2 or 3, Named for their yellow lemony color - these taste like their green counterparts only with less of the bitter biochemical that can make cucumbers bitter & hard to digest. Often eaten raw, they are also good pickled.
Broccoli - 1 lb (Stalk & leaves are also edible & quite tasty.) We soak heads in water to get rid of bugs but suggest you submerse them in salt water for 20 to 30 minutes.
Curly Kale - 1 bunch
Kohlrabi - 1
Fresh Garlic - 1 bulb, Wrap loosely and store in fridge as the bulbs haven't been dried.
Lemon Balm - 1 bunch , Chop in salad for lemony smell and taste, use in hot or iced tea, or add to baked goods.
