What's Happening at Your Library

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK

Make it a Good Week ... Visit Your Library!

APRIL 6 - 12, 2025

This year, from April 6 through 12, libraries across the country will celebrate National Library Week, a time to highlight the importance of libraries in their communities. It would be a great time for you to visit us and see what's new. Browse our expanding collection of the latest in large print books, attend one of our programs, drop in for a friendly game of cribbage, get help with your family genealogy search, sit back and enjoy a daily newspaper, or just drop in to say hello to our friendly staff. We look forward to seeing you!

EASIER ACCESS IS HERE

Motorized Scooter and Rollator

are now available!

Your Library is committed to improving access for all individuals, particularly those with disabilities and older adults. As part of our ongoing commitment, the Library now has a mobility scooter and a rollator for public use. This purchase was made possible through an American Library Association “Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities” grant.

The mobility scooter is an electrically powered wheelchair; while the rollator is a walker with wheels, brakes, seat, and basket. Either one can be used to access all public areas of the Library. Anyone who needs a scooter or rollator while visiting the library may use one - and there is no charge. Individuals should reserve the scooter or rollator a day in advance. Call us for more details.
