Children's Museum Preschool Registration is Open!

Registration is open for The Children's Museum's Preschool. Let the learning adventures begin! Your preschooler can learn and play in the world's largest classroom.

TCM's Preschool is a Level 3 childcare center on the Paths to Quality rating scale, which means that they can accept families who qualify for grants from On My Way Pre-K (for 4 year-olds) or the Indy Preschool Scholarship Program (for 3 year-olds) tuition free.  This program is also open to families who do not qualify for grants from On My Way Pre-K or the Indy Preschool Scholarship Program. Understanding Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

On Saturday, March 21, CICOA Aging & In-Home Services, the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter and the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center/IU School of Medicine invite you to a special event to help you understand the effects of dementia and Alzheimer's disease in our community and society. Love Thy Neighborhood Awards

The 4th annual Love Thy Neighborhood Awards will take place on Thursday, April 16 at the Indiana War Memorial from 5 to 8:30pm, with the awards program beginning at 6:30pm. Five awards will be given highlighting people, projects initiatives, and organizations impacting neighborhoods around Livability, Opportunity, Vitality, and Education, with the fifth award being a People's Choice LOVE award, determined by live voting at the event. Tickets are $25, get yours today!
New Broad Ripple Park Community Center Proposed
The proposed new Family Center at Broad Ripple Park took another major step forward when the Metropolitan Development Commission voted 6-1 to approve the site development plan and secondary uses at the center. 

The $19M project will bring a state of the art health and recreation facility to Broad Ripple Park.  Check out this story from Indy Midtown Magazine and see more details on the master plan here.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) offers IRS-sponsored tax preparation assistance for individuals or families with a combined household income of $66,000 or less.

Broad Ripple Volunteer Callout

Love Broad Ripple? This is your chance to learn about all of the 2020 volunteer opportunities in a fun, casual open-house setting. From events to standing committees, you'll learn how you can use your time and talent to help make Broad Ripple an even better place to live, work and play. Refreshments will be provided. FREE to BRVA members; $10 suggested donation at the door for nonmembers. Attendees will be able to join on-site, but please register ahead online if possible.
