If you read it and remember, I opened up about my struggle during the last six months facing all kinds of challenging situations, including a BIG change, that prevented me from sending my newsletter on a monthly basis. If you like to read it, you can click here. Any way, I said to myself that it shouldn't happen again... well, the reality is that it did happen! By the way the BIG change was an International Relocation (because of my husband's job, but its temporary, we will be back to Chicago soon) but those are no longer the news.
Just when I thought that my life was getting back to "normal" after a spring full of swings and the moving process, the Universe had another surprise for us: Our home in St. Charles, near of Chicago, that we were renting while being away, caught on fire! Fortunately nobody got hurt, just severe damages and material lost. Dear life, you keep surprising me all the time...More about it, including pictures, below.
On a separate note, I'd like to give a warm Welcome to You, who recently expressed interest in my Spanish Voice over and translations services or actually hired me for a project or two. Welcome aboard! I really appreciate our partnership. If you are receving this email for the very first time, scroll down a little and you might find your name in the "Welcome/ Bienvenidos" section below. Thank you for your trust and business, I feel honored to have you here!
Lastly, a recap of some of the activities and events I wanted to share with you during the last few months and I couldn't.
Cheers,
Nydia

Something I am thankful for...

My house burnt down!

Yep, despite this event might sound and be a very intense experience, I truly believe, that everything that happens to any of us is to teach us something, to help us be a better person, to value everything, (even the hard things) and increase our consciousness, otherwise we could easily stay in our comfort
zones or slept if you will.
To the right, what is left of the kitchen after the fire!
On the other side, I am really grateful because we will have a totally renovated house! Brand new kitchen, baths, lights features, carpet, tile, wood floor, windows, appliances, furniture, etc. etc. fire means destruction but also renovation, letting the old go and welcome a fresh new beginning and having the opportunity to experience this type of circumstance is priceless to me! So, thank you, thank you, thank you Universe/God, from the bottom of my heart! For giving me and my family this unbelievable gift, I really appreciate it! :)

My husband and "kids" getting ready to enter the house. Wearing those white suits, to prevent getting the strong smoky smell that the fire left, impregnated in the clothes and hair.

Above: My son, making fun of the situation... :)
