Recent Software Updates

Customer text messages are now sent through Twilio (from the number 43073) for more reliable delivery and tracking; customers no longer need to choose their cellular provider when enabling text messages

Payment transaction fees (if charged to customers) now display on both the Payment Confirmation and Make Payment screens for customers' reference

If customers have a default payment method enabled in their online wallet, clicking on the View/Pay Bill widget will take them directly to the Payment Confirmation screen for ease and efficiency

Customers will now be alerted with a warning symbol on the User Profile icon when an email notification bounces as undeliverable

FEATURE HIGHLIGHT: Weekly Summary

Feedback surveys indicates that customers want their utility to help them control their costs.

The new Weekly Summary notification gives customers a snapshot of their previous week's electric and water usage, helping them to better track and manage their utility costs.

Customers can opt to receive the Weekly Summary from the Alerts screen

Using AMI data from the previous week, usage and weather trends are summarized in a short email

The Weekly Summary email can be customized to include additional messages, images, links, etc. to enhance customer engagement

DID YOU KNOW?

Widgets are a great way to highlight features, programs, and messages to further engage customers.

In partnership with members using MyAccount, we've developed an extensive image library that can be used for widgets -- the boxes at the top of the Dashboard screen in the Charts view.

Widgets can link to external sites or other areas within MyAccount, and can contain different types of content. We can also create new widget images for your individual needs.

Shawano automatically notifies past due customers

Shawano Municipal Utilities has enabled Past Due Reminder notifications for all registered MyAccount users as a customer service to encourage timely bill payment.

If enabled, Past Due Reminder notifications are automatically sent to customers with a balance on their account 4 days after the due date.

Registered users can be automatically enrolled in most notifications in MyAccount. Customers can always opt out of any notifications at any time.
