MyCTSavings Offers Welcome and Payroll Webinars to Support Business Owners

MyCTSavings is designed to be a simple, free, and easy to implement retirement option that small businesses can offer to employees. To ease the enrollment process for businesses that have recently registered, MyCTSavings is now offering a Welcome Webinar during the annual enrollment period to familiarize owners and key personnel with the program. Additionally, twice monthly webinars focused on payroll processing are hosted by Vestwell State Savings, the program’s contract administrator. Both sessions include a live presentation with plenty of time to answer questions.

These sessions can be valuable for training employees who will be working on payroll, or cross-training as needed.

Register for the Welcome and Payroll Webinars at Webinars - MyCTSavings! The webinars will be posted after the initial meeting on the MyCTSavings website for viewing at any time. Visit the Employer Portal for articles and videos that provide answers to many common questions.

As a reminder, businesses with 5 or more employees who do not offer a retirement plan and have been in business since 1/1/23 are required to either register and enroll employees in MyCTSavings, or provide another qualified retirement plan. Once enrolled, employees have the option to opt-out, stay with the standard Roth IRA, or customize a Roth IRA by setting the deduction percentage and choosing from several fund options.
