Dear Chamber/Industry executive:

Businesses with five or more employees that do not offer a retirement plan are required by the State of Connecticut to sign up for MyCTSavings or provide another qualified retirement plan. The deadline for enrollment this year has passed, but employers can still enroll, giving their employees an opportunity to save for a more secure financial future.

Please share this MyCTSavings program information with your membership!

Give your employees a retirement savings option with MyCTSavings. Help them prepare for better future.

MyCTSavings is a retirement savings program sponsored by the Connecticut Office of the State Comptroller. MyCTSavings is free to employers and provides their employees the option to save for retirement through payroll deductions into a Roth IRA.

In the 2023 Survey of Connecticut Businesses, produced by CBIA and Marcum LLP, 81% of employers reported difficulty in finding and retaining workers. Providing a retirement option may be the competitive advantage your business needs to find and retain workers.

Employers with five or more employees that do not offer a retirement plan are required by law to participate or certify that they offer a qualified retirement plan. The deadline to enroll for this year has passed, but employers can still enroll.
