MyChart: Summer 2019 Project Update
Since the Spring project update that was provided in May, a  lot of exciting progress has been made this summer to expand MyChart throughout hospitals within South West Ontario.

There are now 15 hospital sites within the South West, Waterloo Wellington and  Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHINs who are offering MyChart registration to their patients. Over 30 hospital sites are contributing their data to MyChart through its integration with ClinicalConnect.
Spotlight: MyChart Deployments
We would like to congratulate all of the organizations and their sites who began offering MyChart registration to patients over the last three months. Before a hospital begins registering its patients for MyChart accounts, work to engage the organization's staff through on-site communication and training is completed. It's this hard work and dedication of the project teams at each hospital that have made each deployment a success.

The following sites have successfully launched MyChart:
Lynette Gibson, London Health Sciences Centre, registers Martha Pook (patient) for a MyChart account on the London Regional Cancer Program's go-live day.
The London Regional Cancer Program and Breast Care Program of St. Joseph's Health Care London went live with MyChart on June 3rd, and have already registered over 1,000 patients. Way to go!
In a Patient's Words
Dianne Blythe, a patient of the Medical Day Clinic at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, navigates MyChart and notes that "MyChart looks pretty good and it seems easy to use," with assistance from Beth Murray, Transformational Analyst, HITS eHealth Office, Hamilton Health Sciences.

Holly Al, MyChart project lead at Wingham and District Hospital, registers a staff member for MyChart during their staff registration campaign.
On July 15th, the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance began offering MyChart at their central registration desks at both of the organizations' sites; the Listowel Memorial Hospital and Wingham and District Hospital. Their staff registration campaign was a huge success, and had the highest uptake of any staff registration campaign to date. Congratulations to these sites, and to the two site leads Holly Al and Wendy Dekoning, for all of the hard work they put into making this launch a great success.
Cambridge Memorial Hospital officially launched MyChart in their Medical Day clinic on July 17th with the goal of expanding more broadly throughout the hospital in the coming months. Congratulations on being the first site within the Waterloo Wellington LHIN to offer MyChart to your patients.
Mark Berry, Liz Warnick and Beth Murray of the HITS eHealth Office, Hamilton Health Sciences, offered MyChart registrations to patients on Woodstock General Hospital's launch of MyChart.
Woodstock General Hospital successfully deployed MyChart over a span of three weeks. Their staff engagement and eagerness to begin offering this portal to patients led to their successful deployment on June 24th. We applaud the promotional tactics they took advantage of, which included a social media campaign on Twitter and Facebook, as well as air time on their local radio station.
