Organic Raw Cranberry Orange Relish

Submitted by our patient Elise Z.

1 bag (12 ounces) organic whole fresh cranberries, well washed and patted dry

12 oz container frozen Orange Juice (no sugar added)

1/8 teaspoon ( or dash) of each Powdered spices:- cinnamon, clove, nutmeg,

Defrost the Frozen OJ until liquid.

Then place raw cranberries, OJ and spices in food processor or a blender.

"Pulse" slowly the mix until cranberries are coarsely chopped. Go a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.(Do not over-blend the mix as you will loose the texture.)

Chill the relish, covered, in fridge before serving.

Note: Allow at least 1 houjr in the refrigerator to marry the bright, fresh flavors. Make up to 3 days ahead.

The relish keeps, covered and chilled, for 2 weeks.

Note: This Raw Cranberry Orange Relish is deliciously quite tangy & tart with the sweetness coming naturally from the oranges. Once you have tasted it, If you prefer it sweeter, simply add a touch of your favorite natural sweetener like agave, honey, stevia, brown sugar etc.

Yields: 4 cups
