How Diet Affects Your Sleep
Being stuck at home means that maintaining a consistent sleep schedule can be difficult for many of us. If you're struggling to fall asleep at a decent hour and wake up well-rested, you've likely heard all of the standard bits of advice: Invest in a good mattress, adhere to a strict schedule, don't use electronics before bed, and eat healthy. Most of those tips are fairly straightforward, but what exactly constitutes a diet that promotes better sleep? Here's some basic information you can sleep on to help you incorporate a more slumber-friendly meal plan.

Dealing With Pandemic Anxiety

It’s hard enough to struggle with the condition that medical professionals call health anxiety under normal circumstances, but the current pandemic can make this problem worse for those who are prone to anxiety. Even people who don't typically experience this may be inclined to assume the worst about their health, which is understandable given the worldwide spread of COVID-19.

If you’ve found yourself feeling overly concerned about your health lately, here are a few steps you can take to get a better handle on your pandemic-related panic.

Quote of the Month
Recipe of the Month:
Irish Beef Stew
Traditionally, an Irish stew (aka Guinness Stew) is made with lamb, which you can totally do. We opted for beef chuck for simplicity and familiarity, but we think the Guinness and potatoes still qualify the stew as Irish. Whatever cut of meat you choose, this stew is absolutely delicious. Not too heavy, but still extremely filling. An Irish Coffee would be the perfect end to the meal
