The End of an Era...

And the beginning of something great. Please help us wish Jenn a fond farewell, and future success!

"After many good years deep in the MyRec.com software, I am ready to begin a new adventure in a passion of mine. My partner and I are rolling for initiative, studying our hand of cards, and trying for yahtzee. In other words, we are opening a board game cafe in Middletown, CT on February 25th. It has been an interesting ride working with you all and I invite you to come to Back Again Board Game Cafe (www.backagaincafe.com) for some good tea, coffee, cookies, and - of course - games if you're in the area. Until then, I wish you full rosters and easy registrations. Thank you." -Jenn

Side 1: What's New

This Newsletter!

  • We just love our newly named newsletter the "MyRecord", and hope you do too!
  • We'd love to use your department photos in an upcoming newsletter, see below to submit!

Reports

  • All account, membership, and balance due reports that can logically support exports have had that function added to them.
  • The Facility Usage by Account report carries the selected facilities through if you click the total in the dark purple line on prior layers.
  • POS and facility disclaimer reports carry the selected date range through from the first layer to inner layers. Item dates are also shown.
  • The Monthly Revenue financial report more accurately reflects which facilities revenue is for.

Accounts

  • The messages tab in accounts now includes communications logs, where you can add notes on interactions with the account for staff use.
  • When using Address Lookup setting, an override checkbox can be used to change residency. If an address is updated, the residency may change.
  • When using Everyone is Resident/Everyone is Non-Resident settings, accounts can be edited to a different residency.
  • The membership card link on public invoices/emails has been corrected to display the digital cards on click when applicable.

Facilities

  • On facility creation, the Map setting, while not on by default, can be turned on and saved to display a map based on the entered address.

Activities & Registration

  • Advanced activity attendance sheets once again start new pages for each day when printed.
  • We have updated the transfer process to include additional instruction and automatically use any credit from the process as payment.
  • The "Duplicate" link seen after setting an advanced activity time slot schedule with more than one "Other" location goes to an edit page.
  • The ability to view dates has been added to the Schedule tab of cancelled Standard and Advanced Activities.
  • A check box to Allow Overbooking has been added to the Edit All Activities feature for all activity types.

Misc

  • POS barcode scans using the Axess Door system can limit entry based on product settings and report scans like other POS barcode scans.

Possible future items are in Misc > Upcoming Changes, where you can vote on them.

Side 2: A Must Do – Membership Cards

It’s That Time of Year Again…

Believe it or not, spring and summer are right around the corner, and that means it’s time to start thinking about membership cards! Whether you need to top off your supply or start one, make sure to submit your order soon to skip those pesky rush costs.

With that, we’ve got some great news: Ordering membership cards just got a whole lot easier!

  • Better than ever. We are working with a new vendor that offers more affordable pricing and faster production time, while still maintaining the quality you expect.
  • Simplify the logistics. We handle everything, from the design to coordinating shipping. We know you’re busy! Sit back and relax – we’ve got this one.
  • Window shopping made easy. The Membership card order forms have been updated to include a handy quote calculator, so you can tweak your order to suit your budget.
  • Shipping quotes will be sent after order submission. Our form is good, but not “access to UPS shipping prices” good, unfortunately.
  • Professionally designed. Skip the hassle of those annoying drag-and-drop “design builders.” Our experienced Design Specialist will work with you to create a card design that reflects exactly what you need, in the most delightful way.
